Plain language summary: Recentia.fyi is a public forum — a megaphone, not a publisher. We host your words; we don't write them. You own your content and you own your responsibility for it. Be honest. Be fair. Don't post things you can't back up.
1. About This Platform
Recentia.fyi ("the Platform") is an online public forum that allows registered users to share personal consumer experiences, complaints, reviews, and opinions regarding products, services, and businesses. Recentia.fyi operates as a neutral venue and conduit for public expression. We do not create, author, endorse, or adopt any user-generated content as our own.
2. Eligibility & Registration
To submit content you must be at least 18 years of age, register with a valid email address, verify your account, and provide accurate registration information. One person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or manipulate rankings is prohibited.
3. Content Policy & User Responsibilities
⚠️ Important: You are solely and entirely responsible for all content you submit. Posting false, defamatory, or malicious content may result in civil and/or criminal liability against you personally.
What you may post
- Truthful, first-hand accounts of your personal consumer experience
- Honest opinions clearly framed as your personal view
- Photos, videos, and documents you have the right to share
- Constructive criticism directed at businesses and their services
What you may NOT post
- False statements of fact presented as true
- Content you know or suspect to be inaccurate or exaggerated
- Personal attacks, harassment, or threats against individuals
- Private personal information of third parties
- Content motivated by personal vendettas unrelated to a genuine consumer experience
- Spam or duplicate submissions
- Content that violates applicable Malaysian law
Truth obligation
By submitting a rant you declare in good faith that the events represent your genuine personal experience. Recentia.fyi will cooperate with lawful legal processes requesting user information in connection with defamation claims.
4. The Verified Badge
Our review agents may assess evidence submitted alongside a complaint. When they determine that evidence is consistent with the user's account, they may award a "Verified by Recentia" badge. This is an internal credibility assessment only — not a legal finding or professional determination. Verification may be revoked if new information comes to light.
5. Platform Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recentia.fyi is not liable for any user-generated content or any damages arising from your use of or reliance on content published here. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any user submission. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
6. Content Removal & Business Rights
Businesses or individuals named in a complaint who believe the content is false, defamatory, or in violation of these Terms may submit a removal request to support@recentia.fyi with supporting documentation. All requests will be reviewed in good faith within 14 business days. Businesses may also submit an Official Response by contacting support — responses will be displayed alongside the original complaint.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, submit knowingly false content, or otherwise abuse the platform. Decisions may be appealed by contacting support@recentia.fyi.
8. Governing Law & Contact
